Awkwafina
Awkwafina was an American actress and musician. Her first release was funny, well-written rap songs that addressed topics like race and sexuality. Then she expanded her fan base to Hollywood. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese as well as Korean parents in Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was her first instrument. Also, she received Jazz and classical training before delving into hip-hop as a teenager. At college, she was studying the field of women's studies and journalism. In addition, she spent some time learning Mandarin in Beijing. After graduation, she begin to concentrate on music. After gaining viral fame through the Internet and her own My Vag song My Vag was a reaction to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick. It eventually was included on the debut album Yellow Ranger. On the album, there also were viral songs like Queef (body-positive) and NYC Bitche$. The latter track connected directly into another venture Awkwafina's NYC A travel guide that was released in 2015. Her resume contained both an the musician and author. She was now looking for a new career path in acting. Aside from early TV shows like Girl Code and Tawk, she has also been featured in films like Neighbors2Storks as well as Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered a series of notable roles including Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she debuted her debut EP "In Fina We Trust".
